Contestants demonstrate professional Fantasy lash design and styling techniques directly on a live model, combining creative shapes, lengths, and unique decorative details to create an impressive, standout set of lashes that harmonizes with the makeup, costume, and overall stage presentation.

COMPETITION RULES - FANTASY LASH

Eyelash adhesive: Contestants must use black adhesive; clear adhesive is not permitted.

Thickness and length of lashes: Lash fans must not exceed 8 lashes. The length of the lashes must comply with safety requirements and the health of the natural lashes.

Fan styling gel: In the Fantasy Lash category, contestants are permitted to use fan styling gel.

Distance from skin: Eyelash extensions must not touch the skin.

Makeup and stage presentation: The Fantasy Lash category requires makeup and a model for stage presentation.

Preparation for the competition: Contestants are permitted to design the false lashes at home and then bring them to the competition room to apply to the model. Contestants are permitted to prepare costumes and makeup for the presentation.

Phone usage policy: Models, contestants, judges, and the jury are not permitted to use phones during the competition and judging process.

Confidentiality of competition entries: It is strictly forbidden to share or post images of competition entries before the official results are announced.
Subject Criteria
Cleanliness – Evaluate the overall cleanliness and hygiene of the entry. 10
Lash Colors – Evaluation of the number of lash colors used: 1–2 colors get a maximum of 4 points; 3 colors get 6 points; 4 colors get 8 points; 5 colors get 10 points. 10
Lash Length – Maximum lash extension length is 17 mm, must be suitable for the health of natural lashes and the model's eye shape. 10
Lash Curls – Evaluation of the number of curls used: 1 curl equals 10 points; 2 curls equal 15 points; 3 curls equal 20 points. 20
Lash Thickness – Evaluation of the lash fiber thickness used: 0.10 mm scores 10 points; 0.07 mm scores 15 points; 0.05 mm scores 20 points. 20
Lash Techniques – Evaluation of the number of lash techniques combined: 1 technique earns 10 points; 2 techniques earn 15 points; 3 techniques earn 20 points. 20
Suitable Lash Design – The lash design must be suitable for the eye shape and the overall design of the model. 10
Lash Direction – The lash direction must be consistent with the lash style and the overall design of the competition entry. 10
Lash Coverage – Score calculated based on the percentage of completed lash extensions, with every 10% corresponding to 1 point; reaching 100% earns 10 points. 10
Symmetry – Evaluate the symmetry between the two eyes and the overall harmony of the lash set. 10
Stickies – Noodles that do not stick together. Each noodle that sticks will be penalized 1 point. 20
Distance from Skin – Eyelash extensions must not touch the skin. The base of the lash is allowed to be 0.1 mm from the skin; the fan is allowed to be 0.2 mm from the skin; the maximum allowed distance is 0.3 mm. 10
Bonding & Retention – Each lash extension that falls out when brushing or when separating lashes stuck together will result in a 1-point deduction. 20
Adhesive Base – The adhesive base must not be runny or sticky. Each instance of runny or sticky adhesive results in a 0.5-point deduction per lash strand. 20
Fan (Volume Fan) – Required to use Volume Fans from 5D–8D. Candidates with a higher number of 8D Fans will be awarded higher scores; candidates with a higher number of 5D Fans will be awarded lower scores. 5D–6D Fans must use 0.07 mm lash extensions; 7D–8D Fans must use 0.03 mm or 0.05 mm lash extensions, depending on preference. The inner and outer corners of the eye are permitted to use 3D–4D Fans. Criteria include the number of Fans (10 points) and the quality of the Fans (10 points). 20
Makeup (Makeup) – The makeup style must match the Fantasy Lash design and the overall performance. 10
Outfit – The outfit must be suitable for the design style and the overall performance. The model's demeanor and catwalk skills will not be scored. 10
